Worst repair shop I’ve ever seen. Taking into account I’ve been a mechanic for over 15 years and currently work at a dealership…. They have a different labor rate for each person that walks through the door. Not transparent at ALL! Do your research, was quoted 7500 for repairs when a shop down the road is doing the same job with a better warranty for 3 grand less!! This shop is why mechanics get called scam artists.

TAP Auto applies the same established labor-rate structure and pricing process consistently to all customers. We do not change our labor rate based on who walks through the door. Our estimates are based on the repairs identified, the parts and labor required, and the warranty coverage we provide. We understand that you experienced frustration involving your third-party warranty company. However, decisions regarding what that company will authorize or cover are outside our control and should not be represented as dishonesty on the part of our shop. Customers are always free to compare estimates and choose the repair facility that best meets their needs. Different shops may recommend different repairs, use different parts, or provide different warranty coverage, which can result in significant price differences. We stand behind the accuracy and transparency of the estimate we provided and strongly disagree with the suggestion that our team acted dishonestly or attempted to take advantage of anyone.
